River of Life PCG - Proclaiming Christ for over 36 years!
Ministries & Outreach
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says.  James 1:22

River of Life Church recognizes that needs come in many shapes and sizes, thankfully so does the help!  We support many of our community partners in trying to improve the lives of those around us, sharing the love of Jesus with them along the way.  The Bible tells us in James chapter 2"Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."  We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside others who recognize the importance of helping those in need - as Christ commanded, what we do unto the least, we do unto Him.

Listed below are some of the major efforts of River of Life to share God's love and living with anyone who thirsts for more of Him.
Feed My Sheep
Jesus tells us plainly in the book of John, chapter 21 when speaking to Peter, that when we truly love Him we show that love by taking care of, loving and feeding His sheep.  Currently this program provides a free meal once a month, as well as a clothing giveaway to all who attend.  Watch for the dates and join us!  You can give, receive, or both...  Contact Pastor Susie to find out how you can be a part!

Prayer Shawl Ministry
We all have an intercessor - Romans 8 tells us Jesus Himself is at the hand of the Father on our behalf.  And as our example, we too should be interceding for others.  The Prayer Shawl Ministry provides not only a physical covering (shawls, blankets, quilts) to recipients, but also the prayers and hearts of the church.  This anointed group of ladies prays without ceasing over these articles and the testimonies of peace, comfort and healing continue to return from all!  Our God is faithful!

Indian Missions
Our partners in the ministry, the Indian Missions pastors and families are not only members of the PCG organization, but are our brothers and sisters knit together at the heart.  As Paul wrote throughout Galatians - we are all alive in Christ; one man, one body - there is no longer a wall of hostility among races or peoples; rather a new life in Christ where we are all one children and heirs of God.  And so, reaching the Native American communities for Christ has become part of our mission as well.  Through offerings and gifts, as well as with mission trips to Broken Bow and other areas, River of Life Church labors alongside the many pastors and workers to continue sharing Christ with the populations of Native Americans in Oklahoma and across the U.S.

Armed Services Outreach
The Bible tells us to give honor to whom it is due - our service men and women fight for our daily freedoms, including the freedom to worship our God.  We honor them.  Through our prayers, cards and letters - as well as with periodic shipments of supplies and care packages - men and women around the world have received this outpouring from a grateful church family.  If you know of someone in need of encouragement, email us with their contact information today!

INDIA
Join us in prayer!  Our family is growing every day by the grace of God!  Our brother, Abraham K., and his ministry in India need our support.  Keep him and his church family lifted in your prayers.  And if you would like to sign up to be further support to this Spirit-filled mission, email Brother Seth @ revsjp@gmail.com for more information about all that God is doing in the lives of our Indian brothers and sisters.
We have established two water wells in villages of Andra Pradesh!  Fresh water available at the pump for the community - no more walking miles to carry water!  Praise the Lord!

Reaching India's Children Everyday
We are so blessed to have met one of God's own from India,  and to visit with Brother Reuben right here at River of Life!  As we cultivate more of a relationship with God's people from around the world, expect to hear more about what He is doing through us alongside Reuben in India!

River of Life Appalachian Missions
A new ministry opportunity for River of Life - and it all began with Homecoming Church in Martin County, KY.  We are linking arms with Pastor Elmer Harris, his wife Betty and their family to reach the communities of Calf Creek, Inez and all of Martin County.  Remember them in your prayers!  Our maiden voyage in April 2009 was a tremendous blessing to Homecoming Church and to us!  God showed up on every front for a wonderful trip and heartwarming visit.  And look for announcements about our future trips to Martin County to share the gospel with supplies, prayers, ministry and medical mission outreaches.  With God all things are possible, so be in constant prayer about the part He would have you to play!

PCG Home & Foreign Missions
As a supporting part of the PCG, River of Life takes on the responsibility to lift those in the mission field through the larger organization.  As 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 tells us, "...God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ....and He has committed us to the message of reconciliation.  We are therefore Christ's ambassadors..."  Just as we serve our local communities, these missionaries are serving the larger global community on God's behalf.  To find out more you can visit www.pcg.org and click on the missions page; or you can email us at River of Life and become a part of our giving to the mission field.
